My fascination for cameras started on family vacations as I attempted to document our adventures with a camcorder when I was just 11 years old. Originally from Lithuania, I was adopted when I was 10 years old and that’s when my life changed forever. I have had such a fun journey working as a cinematographer and director on television commercials, documentaries, and promotional videos for the past 10 years.

I have had many opportunities over the years to learn and experiment with many different positions in the production industry. I have worked as an in-house television commercial editor and director for national commercial creatives, and produced and directed digital content for a multi-billion dollar outdoor enterprise. My most recent work has consisted of regular travel all over the US as a cinematographer and director of commercials and short-form documentaries.

Previously, I was a production coordinator at Conill ad agency on the T-Mobile and Toyota brands, first assistant director on independent films; camera operator and grip for KPBS, director of photography for the San Diego State University newspaper, and reality television editor and cameraman. I also started my own production company, Daniel Galuppo Productions, that focuses on corporate, promotional, and commercial content to help business build brand awareness and share their stories.
